Multiple Mobility XE servers can now be configured and managed as a single, logical pool allowing large enterprises to add capacity without disrupting current users. All servers communicate with one another and work together to service the combined load of thousands of Mobility clients. If one server fails, clients connected to it are automatically re-assigned among remaining servers in the pool.
For easier configuration and management, Mobility's Status Monitor, Configuration Manager, and Activity Log are now incorporated into this single, intuitive web-based interface where all administrative functions can be performed from a browser, regardless of where the administrator is located. The Mobility console includes six main sections: Server Status, Client Status, Server Settings, Client Settings, Licensing, and Policy Management. |
